Set your birthday once and the home tab shows your age in years, months and days — plus the total days, hours, minutes and seconds you’ve been alive, and a little countdown to your next birthday.
The Calculator tab lets you put any two dates against each other — from-and-to — and read out the gap in years, months and days, with total days, hours, minutes and seconds underneath. Swap the dates with one tap, or jump to today.
The Birthdays tab is where the people you care about live. Add a photo, a name and a date, and How Old Am I will quietly send you a notification at 9 AM on their birthday every year. No groups, no sync, no friend graph — just a list of people and dates that stays out of the way until you need it.

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how How Old Am I — Birthdays & Age ("the App," "we," "our," or "us") handles information. The App is a free age calculator and birthday tracker for iPhone and iPad.
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what the App does, and does not do, with information on your device.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information. How Old Am I does not require an account, does not ask for your email, and does not transmit your birthdays or your friends’ birthdays to our servers (we don’t run any).
- No sign-in, account or registration.
- No location, contacts, microphone or camera access.
- No first-party analytics or crash reporting SDKs.
- Your own date of birth and the people you add are stored locally on your device, never uploaded.
- Any photo you attach to a person stays inside the app’s sandbox — it is never sent off-device.
- Your settings (Birthdays Pro entitlement, notification preferences) are stored locally on your device.
3. Notifications
When you enable Birthday Reminder on a person, How Old Am I schedules a local notification through iOS at 9 AM on their birthday each year. These notifications are scheduled on-device by iOS and never leave it. You can turn them off per person, or globally in iOS Settings → Notifications → How Old Am I.
4. Photo Library Access
To attach a photo to a person in the Birthdays tab, iOS will ask permission to access your Photo Library. The App reads only the image you pick — it does not enumerate or scan your library. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time from iOS Settings.
5. Advertising (Free Version)
The free version of How Old Am I shows advertisements served by Google AdMob — a banner near the bottom of the screen and occasional interstitial ads. AdMob may collect a limited set of identifiers (such as the iOS Identifier for Advertisers, IDFA) and basic device and ad-interaction data in order to show ads and measure performance.
Before any tracking-based ads can be shown, we present Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, AdMob will only serve non-personalised ads, and the IDFA is not shared.

6. In-App Purchases
The Birthdays Pro in-app purchase is processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not see your payment details. Your purchase entitlement is verified through Apple’s receipt and stored locally on your device, and restored on demand via Restore Purchases.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share user data. The only third-party data flow is from Google AdMob in the free version, as described above. Birthdays Pro removes that flow entirely.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is suitable for users of all ages and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be reflected on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.

How Old Am I — Birthdays & Age is offered as a personal organisation tool. By installing the App you agree to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs all App Store apps.
The Birthdays Pro in-app purchase is a one-time, non-consumable unlock tied to your Apple ID. It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their standard refund policy.
