2. Age Rating & Target Audience
AP Biology is rated 4+ on the App Store. The content is specifically designed for AP Biology exam preparation and targets biology students, typically high school juniors and seniors. All content is educational and appropriate for all ages.
3. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal data.
AP Biology operates entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) from users.
- The App does not require user registration or accounts.
- The App does not access your photos, contacts, location, or any personal data.
- Flashcard progress, quiz scores, and starred cards are stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud.
- No analytics or tracking is implemented by the App itself.
4. Tracking & Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version. Tracking is done solely for the purpose of serving Google AdMob ads. The App requests App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission on iOS to allow personalized advertising.
Google may automatically collect and process certain data for the purpose of personalized or non-personalized advertising, such as:
- Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID / IDFA)
- Approximate location (for relevant ads)
- Ad interaction and performance data
These data are collected and processed directly by Google, not by this App. If you decline the ATT prompt, non-personalized ads will be shown instead.

The App offers optional subscription plans (monthly and yearly) to unlock premium features. Purchase history is tracked solely for the App's function of subscription tracking and related content access. This information is used exclusively to determine your subscription status and unlock the appropriate premium content within the App.
All subscription purchases are processed securely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. The purchase history data remains on your device and within the Apple ecosystem and is not transmitted to any external servers or third parties by the App.
6. Children's Privacy
We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide. Since we do not collect any personal information, there is no risk of students' data being shared or misused.
7. Data Sharing
Since we do not collect personal data, we have nothing to share with third parties. Your information stays on your device. The only third-party service integrated is Google AdMob for advertising purposes, as described above.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
2. Managing Your Subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. To cancel, go to: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > AP Biology. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
