These terms apply to the chalplex website and to the apps and browser extensions published under the chalplex name.

Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using a chalplex app or extension, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our products.

Purchase Terms

Paid apps are one-time purchases — not subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the time of purchase and there are no recurring charges. Prices vary per app and are shown on each App Store listing.

Many of our apps are free and supported by advertising, and a number of those offer optional one-time in-app purchases — typically to remove ads permanently, unlock additional topics or practice papers, or enable iCloud sync. These are also one-off charges, never subscriptions. Our paid apps and all of our Chrome extensions carry no ads. What applies to a given product is stated on its own page and on its store listing, and how advertising data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, and we cannot issue refunds ourselves. For a refund, please contact Apple Support directly through their standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Standard EULA

Unless an individual app states otherwise, our App Store apps are licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

Permitted Use

You may use our apps for personal study, teaching and everyday work. You may not resell, redistribute, decompile or reverse-engineer them, or republish their content as your own.

Educational Content

Our revision apps are independent study aids. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to AQA, OCR, Edexcel, the College Board, CBSE, the UPSC or any other examination board or awarding body. Subject names and specification codes are used only to describe what an app covers. We work to keep content accurate and current, but syllabuses change — always check your official specification and your teacher's guidance as the authoritative source. Nothing in our apps guarantees any particular examination result.

Not Professional Advice

Some of our apps cover money, health or measurement topics. They are provided for general information and convenience only, and are not financial, medical, legal or professional advice. Utilities that measure or sense — levels, speedometers, magnetometers, audio analysers and similar — depend on your device's sensors and must not be relied upon where accuracy matters for safety or compliance.

Availability & Changes

We may update, change or withdraw an app, extension or website feature at any time. We aim to keep everything working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimer & Liability

Our products are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To that same extent, chalplex is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and none of it affects your statutory consumer rights.

Intellectual Property

All app content, artwork, icons, typefaces and graphics published by chalplex remain our property. Fonts and graphics packs distributed through Behance are covered by the licence stated on their respective Behance pages.

Privacy

Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. In short, we collect no personal data.
