The College Board has revised the AP Statistics course, and the revision takes effect from the 2027 exam. Rather than quietly deleting the affected material – which is still examinable for anyone sitting the paper before then – the app labels it:

How much does it cost?
$4.99, paid once on the App Store. That buys the whole app: all nine units, 90 revision note sections and 250 exam-style questions with explanations. Nothing renews and there is nothing else to buy.
Is there a subscription, or in-app purchases?
Neither. It is a straightforward paid app – one purchase, no auto-renewal, no consumables, no upgrade tier. Once it is on your device, everything in it is unlocked.
Are there ads?
No. There is no advertising anywhere in the app, and no advertising SDK inside it – which also means no advertising identifier and no tracking permission prompt.
Is there a free version to try first?

What do the “Partly cut from 2027” labels mean?
The College Board has revised the course, with the changes taking effect from the 2027 exam. Units where some topics are trimmed are labelled Partly cut from 2027, and inference for slopes – which the revised course drops – is labelled Not on the 2027+ exam. Nothing is removed from the app, because that material is still examinable for students sitting the paper before the change. Check the current official Course and Exam Description for the year you are sitting.
How do the quizzes work?
Twenty-five or thirty four-option questions per unit, on a countdown clock of 100 seconds per question – fifty minutes for a thirty-question unit. You can move back and forth before submitting; afterwards every question is replayed with the correct answer and a short explanation, and your best score for that unit is kept.
What is Revise Wrong Answers?
A quiz on the home screen built only from questions you have answered incorrectly, anywhere in the course. It fills up as you work and empties as you get things right.
Are there free-response questions?
No – the question bank is exam-style multiple choice, the section you can practise and mark instantly on a phone. The revision notes cover the concepts and vocabulary the free-response section draws on, but pair the app with past free-response papers for that half of the exam.
Do I need a graphing calculator to use it?
No. The questions are written to be answered from the reasoning and the values given, in the way the multiple-choice section works. You should still practise with the calculator you will take into the exam.
Does it work offline?
Yes – completely. All the notes and questions are stored inside the app, so nothing you do while studying needs a connection. There is no ad loading and no server to call home to.
Is this made by the College Board?

This Privacy Policy describes how AP Statistics ("the App," "we," "our," or "us") handles information. The App is a study aid containing revision notes and practice questions for the AP Statistics course.
The short version: the App collects nothing. It is a paid app with no advertising and no analytics, so there is no commercial reason for it to gather data about you, and it does not.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information – none at all. The App has no accounts, no sign-up and no login, and we operate no servers of our own.
- Your study progress, best scores and the list of questions you answered incorrectly are stored locally on your device only.
- All revision notes and questions ship inside the App; nothing you read or answer is transmitted anywhere.
- The App does not access your contacts, location, photos, microphone, camera, calendars or health data.
- We do not operate analytics of any kind and we do not build profiles of users.
- There is no advertising in the App and no third-party advertising or analytics SDK inside it.
3. No Advertising and No Tracking
AP Statistics contains no advertising. Because there is no advertising provider, the App does not read or use a device advertising identifier, does not track you across other companies' apps and websites, and does not present Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt – there is nothing it would be asking permission for.
Nothing about your study – your scores, the units you read, the questions you missed – leaves your device.

AP Statistics is a paid app, bought once on the App Store for $4.99 (the price may vary by region). It contains no subscriptions and no in-app purchases.
The purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see, receive or store your card details, billing address or any other payment credential, and we receive no report identifying you as a purchaser. Whether you are entitled to run the App is handled by the App Store and your Apple Account, not by us.
Your Apple Account and its payment records remain governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
5. Data Sharing
There is nothing to share. We collect no data, so we sell none, share none for behavioural advertising, and transfer none to third parties. The only company involved in the App besides us is Apple, which distributes it and processes the purchase.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is aimed at high-school students and older. Because it collects no personal information and shows no advertising, it complies by design with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code and similar regulations, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

- Your data: deleting the App removes all locally stored progress and scores from your device. There is no copy anywhere else.
