The app links to helpful starting points for checking a name — searching Apple Podcasts and other directories, and the trademark registers such as USPTO, EUIPO, UKIPO and WIPO. This notice is shown in the app before first use, alongside every set of results, and in the full disclosure screen.

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Podcast Name Generator ("the App," "we," "our," or "us") handles information. The App helps you discover and generate podcast name ideas, with your saved content stored on your device.
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the App and its service providers process, and what stays on your device.
2. Your Content & Show Details
Your shortlist, style preferences, Mic Credits balance and optional show details (host, co-host, topic and keywords) are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this content to our servers, and we do not have access to it.
- The App does not require an account or sign-in.
- AI name generation runs on-device with Apple Intelligence — your show details are used only to tailor suggestions and are not sent to us.
- Deleting the App removes its locally stored data from your device. Please note any names you want to keep beforehand.
3. Advertising
The App displays ads through Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads that grant Mic Credits and interstitial ads in the free experience. To serve ads, AdMob may collect and process certain information, such as a device advertising identifier, general device and usage data, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This data is used to deliver and measure advertising.
You can review Google's practices here: Google Ads & Privacy. Any in-app purchase removes interstitial ads.
4. App Tracking Transparency
Where required, the App asks for your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any identifier is used to deliver personalized ads. If you decline, ads remain non-personalized. You can change this choice any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
5. In-App Purchases
Mic Credits packs are one-time purchases (consumable credit packs and a non-consumable Unlimited option) processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Purchase validation and restoration are handled by Apple's StoreKit, and you can restore purchases at any time from the Mic Credits screen. Mic Credits are non-refundable except where required by law, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
6. Name Suggestions
Names suggested by the App are ideas only. The App does not check name availability or trademark status, and suggestions may already be in use or protected. Verifying that a name is safe to use commercially is your responsibility.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. The advertising described above is provided by third parties subject to their own policies.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be reflected on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
